Job Summary of IT Manager:

Ulta Beauty is seeking a leader to oversee its Identity Management (IM) team, responsible for the end-to-end identity lifecycle and enterprise IAM technologies. This role drives the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of identity solutions, while ensuring robust system performance and security. The position requires strong technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a vision for scaling identity programs that support Ulta Beauty’s growing technology footprint.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of IT Manager:

• Lead and manage the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team and associated enterprise solutions.
• Oversee identity lifecycle management, provisioning, governance, and integrations across platforms such as Active Directory, Azure AD, GCP, SAP, HRIS, and ServiceNow.
• Develop documentation, procedures, and support mechanisms for One Identity Manager (OneIM).
• Create and run PowerShell scripts to automate and support identity processes.
• Drive technical architecture and execution of identity management and access control initiatives.
• Perform patching, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting for OneIM components.
• Conduct risk assessments, implement preventative measures, and participate in annual IT risk reviews.
• Guide internal research and testing of new IAM technologies and solutions.
• Facilitate cross-functional stakeholder communication and ensure alignment with business policies and security strategies.
• Lead problem management, including root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience of IT Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of IT experience with deep focus on Identity Management.
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams in enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and PowerShell scripting.
• Expertise in One Identity Manager architecture, synchronization, database, and administration.
• Experience in cloud-based directory services including Azure AD and GCP.
• Ability to lead infrastructure implementations and performance optimization.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage off-hours and 24x7 support coverage when needed.

Salary:

Pay range is $119,300.00 – $170,000.00 per year, with eligibility for additional bonus compensation.
