Job Summary of Senior Associate, Risk Management:
Santander Holdings USA, Inc. is seeking a results driven individual to support enterprise wide risk management initiatives. This position plays a critical role in providing subject matter expertise and ensuring adherence to governance standards, risk appetite, and corporate policies. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, and development of risk reporting tools and applications to enhance risk visibility and operational efficiency.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Senior Associate, Risk Management:
- Support governance and reporting functions by aligning committee content with expectations and risk requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and credible challenge on risk governance, emerging risks, and compliance with policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage timely delivery of risk reporting and program data.
- Create data visualizations to communicate key risk messages effectively.
- Identify and implement enhancements to risk monitoring and reporting processes.
- Deliver best practices, tools, and training to improve analytical capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Lead ad-hoc risk initiatives across U.S. and global risk teams.
- Develop Power Apps to automate and streamline business processes.
- Recommend and build new MIS capabilities for reporting and automation.
Qualifications and Experience of Senior Associate, Risk Management:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or equivalent work experience Required.
- 9+ years of experience in risk management Required.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, tools, and governance structures.
- Proven ability to work independently within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and executive-level communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps development is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to balance multiple demands and drive initiatives to completion.

Salary
$93,750 – $160,000 per year, based on experience, and qualifications.
