The role involves supervising store managers, ensuring consistent execution of strategic goals, and representing GNC’s values. The focus is on driving sales, leading teams, managing merchandising programs, and maintaining operational standards to support the brand’s mission to help others live well.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Market Manager:

• Regulate the functioning and sales outcomes of various retail sites within a designated territory.
• Provide guidance and strategic leadership to store teams to elevate efficiency, guest satisfaction, and sales results.
• Arrange store evaluations centered around team development, customer service excellence, sales advancement, and theft prevention tactics.
• Guarantee the precise and consistent execution of merchandising plans at each site.
• Recognize and capitalize on sales and operational openings determined by market conditions and performance gauges.
• Aid in talent acquisition, orientation, capacity building, and performance assessment of store staff.
• Establish a talent reservoir that supports regional and brand strategies.
• Adhere to inventory procedures, prevent losses, and enforce strategies to control shrinkage effectively.
• Duly travel within the allocated market on a frequent basis, potentially occupying 75% of the schedule.

• Demonstrated success in overseeing various retail locations and leading significant teams.
• Proficient in dynamic leadership, strategic plotting, and enhancing team development.
• In-depth knowledge of retail protocols, customer interactions, and merchandise presentation guidelines.
• Skills in evaluating data, understanding shifts in the local market, and advancing business results.
• Equipped to tackle physical tasks that involve lifting objects weighing up to 40 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods.
• Expertise in computer system operations and versatility in adapting to different work environments.
