Job Summary of Retail Assistant Manager:

Support the day-to-day store functions with exceptional customer service, team management, and revenue maximization. Assist in monitoring store performance, inventory levels, and operational procedures to ensure efficiency and profitability.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Assistant Manager:

• Enhance store profitability and market presence through the provision of exceptional customer service.

• Join forces with colleagues to implement organizational plans.
• Validate that store functions adhere to the company’s objectives and benchmarks.
• Drive customer delight by successfully resolving service and sales questions to meet their needs.
• Collaborate with the store manager in facilitating and organizing store activities.
• Lead and educate staff members to successfully reach business objectives.
• Coordinate inventory management, asset tracking, and safety protocols.
• Uphold a tidy and systematic store ambiance in all areas, from the retail section to storage spaces and transport vehicles.
• Roll out company-wide marketing initiatives and propel operational progress.
• Establish enduring relationships with customers by enhancing in-store and telephone communications.

Qualifications and Experience of Retail Assistant Manager:

• A high school diploma or a similar certification is necessary, and candidates with technical or trade school experience are preferred.
• It is beneficial to have worked in the automotive aftermarket, retail, or service industry before.
• Zeal for catering to customer needs and creating enduring coections.
• Competence in performing effectively amidst a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Knowing how to use cataloging or inventory management systems is beneficial.
• Capacity to manage items up to 60 lbs in weight as needed.
• Knowledge in automotive, heavy machinery, agricultural technology, diesel machinery, maritime industry, or dealership business.
• Previous involvement in parts stores, auctions, retail settings, auto body repair shops, and food service supervision.
• ASE certifications.
• Strong customer-first approach.
