Tax Accountant

Job Summary:

Intuit is looking for Tax Associates to join our team for the upcoming tax season. Ideal candidates will have an active PTIN and a passion for helping clients with their tax needs. This remote position offers the chance to work from home while providing exceptional tax services using Intuit TurboTax products.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in completing their tax returns using Intuit TurboTax products.
• Provide tax advice, full service return preparation, and tax calculations.
• Manage product and software inquiries, delivering clear and accurate information.
• Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and provide accurate answers.
• Engage with customers through video and audio tools, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Document all customer interactions to keep accurate records.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax preparation software.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) required; must be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and confidently via video and audio tools.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets Intuit’s security criteria.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
