Job Duties and Responsibilities of Counter Sales Representative:

• Assist patrons with automotive parts inquiries via both face-to-face interactions and phone calls.
• Provide customers and colleagues with expert help and support.
• Ensure excellent customer care to create a favorable shopping environment.
• Tap into the potential of technology, incorporating cash registers and catalog systems for locating parts effectively.
• Engage with patrons to discern their needs and offer suitable recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience of Counter Sales Representative:

• Valid driver?? license.
• Previous engagement in automotive-related activities or a curiosity to enhance understanding.
• Education must include a high school diploma or GED, along with the option to have undertaken technical or vocational education for added qualifications.
• Exceptional communication talents and exemplary customer service acumen.
• Ability to function effectively in a high-energy retail setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the automotive, heavy machinery, agricultural sector, or dealership business.
• Exposure to different facets of the automotive field, such as operating in parts stores, participating in auctions, and assisting in auto body repair facilities.
• Competence in cataloging or inventory management systems is beneficial.
• Preferred qualifications may include ASE certifications, although they are not obligatory.
