Job Summary of Beauty Services Assistant:

This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences in a salon setting while gaining hands on experience in haircare services under the mentorship of a senior stylist. The position is a temporary entry point designed to transition into a full stylist role. Responsibilities evolve over six months from assisting in services and retail support to performing professional hair treatments and styling independently. A strong passion for beauty, commitment to learning, and guest service excellence are key to success in this role.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Beauty Services Assistant:

• Aid stylists by assisting with shampooing, treatments, styling, and color applications to help improve guest experiences and support store sales objectives.
• - Carry out salon treatments independently following the initial training phase, including haircuts, coloring, treatments, blowouts, and styling.
• Deliver customized product recommendations and displays to boost sales and customer satisfaction.
• Make sure the salon area is clean, sanitized, and well-organized to meet the requirements of both the company and the state board.
• Advocate for and champion on-site events and marketing efforts that aim to enhance the guest experience.
• Coordinate with team members, skincare technicians, and sales representatives to enhance the total-store guest experience.
• Maintain adherence to safety, sanitation, booking, and operational protocols to ensure uniformity and compliance.

Qualifications and Experience of Beauty Services Assistant:

• A valid license in cosmetology is a prerequisite.
• Comprehension of primary salon procedures, tools, and chemicals utilized in services like haircutting, coloring, styling, and beauty treatments.
• Keen interest and capabilities in expanding skills within different salon service domains, such as makeup artistry and ear piercing where appropriate.
• Possessing effective communication skills and a commitment to creating enduring connections with customers.
• Proficiency in working alone or in partnership with others in a team atmosphere.
