Qualifications and Experience of Corporate Tax Accountant:
- With strong business tax preparation background and experience of three consecutive years, well-equipped to prepare precise federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for no less than 20 clients per season.
- A requirement for eligibility is possessing an unobstructed and current credential, specifically EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or practicing attorney.
- It is strongly recommended that applicants possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing personal taxes, and must have processed at least 30 tax returns per tax year.
- Having experience in bookkeeping and familiarity with the process of preparing financial records for tax purposes is highly desirable.
- Applicants with a background in preparing business tax returns for service sector customers are highly coveted.
- The possession or attainment of relevant state licenses, certifications, permits, or bonds is a prerequisite for this position.
- The possession of a PTIN is a non-negotiable requirement for active tax preparers.
- In order to participate in the tax season, individuals are required to dedicate a minimum of 20 hours every week in shifts of at least 4 hours.
- Versatility in using technology, involving both computer hardware and software usage.
