Job Summary of Merchandise Associate:

This part-time position centers on delivering personalized customer experiences, suggesting wellness products, and aiding in the logistics of store operations. Team members are integral in promoting a high-performing, inclusive environment that echoes GNC’s Live Well mission.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Merchandise Associate:

• Extend a warm welcome to customers to encourage a positive and friendly atmosphere.
• Assess the needs of customers and offer suggestions for relevant health and wellness products.
• Reach personal and retail sales targets by driving product recognition.
• Meet online demands accurately and promptly.
• Preserve the store’s image by restocking items and improving the visual presentation of merchandise.
• Assist in ensuring the store runs smoothly each day through tasks involving opening and closing procedures and cash handling.
• Be up-to-date on nutritional developments and product information to support customers with accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience of Merchandise Associate:

• The minimum age for participation is 18 years.
• Capability to endure standing or walking for a duration of 8 hours each day.
• Required to occasionally hoist objects of up to 40 pounds and push/pull loads of up to 20 pounds.
• Flexible scheduling for mornings, nights, weekends, and recognized U.S. holidays.
• Impressive talents in interpersonal dynamics and effective communication.
• Ability to work on one’s own and in coordination with a group.
