Executive Director, Operations Innovation
Job Summary of Executive Director, Operations Innovation:
You will leads a diverse team to develop and implement new operational standards, processes, equipment, service models, and concepts for Panda Restaurant Group. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this role supports executive leaders in Operations and Supply Chain to drive innovation and improve store-level efficiency and execution.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Executive Director, Operations Innovation:
- Lead the development and maintenance of operational standards and processes, partnering with Operations and HR to support training and store-level adoption.
- Establish and oversee the Audit team to ensure consistent execution of standards across stores.
- Collaborate with Operations leadership to identify innovation opportunities and deploy process improvements and technology solutions.
- Conduct analysis to optimize workforce planning, scheduling, productivity, and store structure, advising on labor productivity and cost impacts.
- Manage and integrate innovation initiatives across Support Center teams and track project rollouts to the field.
- Partner cross-functionally with Restaurant Development, Marketing Product Innovation, Information Systems, Finance, Strategy, Supply Chain, and Food Safety & Quality Assurance to enhance operational excellence.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of managers and professionals, recruiting and retaining talent to meet growth objectives.
- Drive execution of comprehensive innovation plans for new store builds, remodels, and rollouts through cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications and Experience of Executive Director, Operations Innovation:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 12 to 15 years of experience in multi-unit restaurant or retail operations with a proven track record in innovation, efficiency, and optimization initiatives.
- Experience supporting or working alongside executive leadership in a multi-unit retail environment preferred.
- Successful completion of initial and ongoing trainings.
- Valid Food Handler’s Card required within 30 days of employment.

Salary:
- $205,000 – $288,000 annually, depending on experience.
