Job Summary of Line Cook:
This role involves preparing and cooking food items while ensuring high-quality standards, food safety, and proper presentation. The position requires maintaining a clean workspace, following recipes, and adhering to safety protocols.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Line Cook:
- Prepare menu items according to established recipes and plate presentation standards.
- Complete all assigned prep work efficiently.
- Set up and organize workstations according to guidelines.
- Maintain sanitary and safe food handling practices at all times.
- Clean and sanitize the work area before, during, and after each shift.
- Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to team members, managers, and cooks.
- Ability to read and write to facilitate proper communication and complete required forms.
- Dexterity for using small tools, kitchen equipment, and sharp knives.
- Balance and coordination while moving quickly in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
- Exposure to wet floors, extreme temperatures, and loud noises.
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and carry items up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to move freely throughout the kitchen without restrictions.
Qualifications and Experience of Line Cook:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs comfortably.
- Preferred: 18 years or older.

$14.50 - $18.00 per hour
