Job Summary of Prestige Beauty Advisor:

This position focuses on maximizing sales in the prestige category, including color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance. It involves engaging guests to understand their needs, recommending high end products, performing beauty demonstrations, and maintaining store cleanliness and standards. This role supports a high performing, inclusive culture that fosters excellence in guest experience and retail sales within Ulta Beauty's iconic and prestige brand offerings.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Prestige Beauty Advisor:

• Drive sales in the prestige category by recommending complementary products and services and promoting current events and promotions.
• Deliver outstanding guest experiences through personalized consultations, makeup applications, and skincare analysis.
• Handle sales transactions, returns, and exchanges courteously and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of makeup stations, testers, and the prestige section.
• Assist with merchandising tasks including planograms, resets, marketing displays, and shipment processing.
• Book and support in-store events and service appointments to meet store goals and drive guest engagement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and category education to maintain deep product knowledge.
• Uphold all company policies, loss prevention protocols, and dress code standards.

Qualifications and Experience of Prestige Beauty Advisor:

• High school diploma preferred.
• Cosmetology, esthetician, or demonstrator license required where applicable by state law.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in retail, beauty, or related roles preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting guest relationships.
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and within a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Salary:

The pay range is $16.50 to $22.00 per hour.
