Job Summary of Area Manager:

The job entails overseeing operations at selected retail locations and involves supervising store managers, ensuring the steady execution of strategic objectives, and embodying the values held by GNC. The main focus is on boosting sales, leading teams, coordinating merchandising efforts, and upholding operational norms that support the brand’s mission of enhancing the well-being of individuals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Area Manager:

• Manage the functioning and sales achievements of multiple retail outlets in a specified region.
• Offer direction and leadership to store staff in order to boost performance, customer contentment, and profitability.
• Schedule visits to stores with a primary emphasis on developing the team, improving customer care, increasing sales, and preventing losses.
• Ensure that merchandising strategies are consistently and accurately applied in all branches.
• Discover and put into practice sales and operational chances influenced by market conditions and performance measures.
• Facilitate the hiring, integration, growth, and assessment of store personnel.
• Develop a talent pool that meets the needs of both the regional and brand plans.
• Adhere to inventory protocols, prevent losses, and manage programs aimed at reducing shrinkage.
• Regularly journey within the specified market, with a possible frequency of up to 75%.

Qualifications and Experience of Area Manager:

• Established proficiency in handling multiple retail sites and guiding extensive groups of employees.
• Demonstrated capabilities in robust leadership, tactical organization, and building cohesive teams.
• Strong grasp of the inner workings of retail establishments, client care, and inventory display guidelines.
• Skills in interpreting data, understanding local market shifts, and propelling business achievements.
• Proficient in carrying out physical tasks that involve lifting objects that weigh up to 40 pounds and standing or walking for extended durations.
• Skilled in operating computer software and adept at thriving in different work atmospheres.
