Job Summary of Claims Analyst:

This position involves delivering safety talks and conducting inspections of stores, examining patterns in claims to pinpoint problems, and aiding in the advancement of risk management strategies. The analyst might also serve as the company's representative in Small Claims Court and work in partnership with Operations to reduce risks and improve adherence to safety protocols.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Claims Analyst:

• Verify assertions by promptly reaching out, conducting a detailed evaluation, and maintaining precise records to meet risk management goals.
• Aid in the creation of risk management and safety initiatives, along with the preparation of training resources and slideshows for Operations staff.
• Deliver safety briefings and conduct on-site facility checks to ensure adherence to regulations and advocate for improved safety protocols.
• Compile information and proof for OSHA investigations and records related to claims; create documentation for departmental management.
• Work together with Operations to apply risk management strategies aimed at decreasing the occurrence and impact of claims.
• Communicate with injured employees and ensure that they receive appropriate workplace accommodations in compliance with industrial standards.
• Attend Small Claims Court on behalf of the company when required.

Qualifications and Experience of Claims Analyst:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• - A minimum of three years of applicable experience in risk assessment or associated areas is required.
• The certifications that are most favored are OSHA and SIC (Worker’s Compensation).
• Fulfillment of compulsory introductory and continuous training sessions.
• Must possess a Food Handler’s Card acquired no more than 30 days after starting employment.

Salary:

The salary bracket ranges from $72,500 to $101,500 per year, and the ultimate pay is determined by the level of expertise.
