Job Summary:

You can be a part of Staples' supply chain operations by applying for the position of Warehouse Delivery Material Handler. The job entails loading delivery trucks with products manually, keeping workspaces orderly and safe, and strictly following our safety guidelines.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Warehouse Delivery Material Handlers are required to manually load trucks with products, move and transport items in a fast-paced environment, and sort empty pallets. Safety is paramount in the execution of this role and all employees must demonstrate a strong commitment to upholding safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• The ability to achieve accreditation for the handling of material equipment (MHE) in accordance with stated procedures.
• Devotion to ensuring that the work area is always clean and organized.
• A collective attitude that is inclusive of colleagues and customers is necessary for successful collaboration.
• Being enthusiastic about conforming to safety regulations and ensuring that safety measures are always enforced.
• Skill to work seamlessly in a warehouse with fluctuating ambient temperatures.
• Elementary proficiency in both written and spoken English language usage.

Basic Qualifications:

• To qualify for this role, prospects must have a warehouse work history of at least 3 months or have completed equal levels of education and training.
• Possessing the expertise to come out negative in a drug test.
• Capability to work flexible hours and overtimes as necessary.
• Having the physical aptitude to lift, push, or pull items that have a maximum weight limit of 100 pounds.
• Individuals who have not yet achieved the age of 18 may not proceed.
• The fundamentals for this job involve a high school diploma, GED, or applicable professional background.
