Job Summary of Stylist:

This role is responsible for providing personalized hair care services while delivering an exceptional guest experience. The position involves consulting with guests, performing hair and beauty services, and promoting retail products. It also includes supporting performance goals, maintaining salon standards, and fostering guest relationships. Passion for the beauty industry and the ability to learn and communicate product knowledge are essential for success.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Stylist:

• Perform hair and beauty services including haircuts, styling, coloring, treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing.
• Meet or exceed service and sales goals through exceptional guest service and product recommendations.
• Demonstrate business awareness by supporting promotional and marketing initiatives in the salon.
• Stay informed on industry trends, services, and products to enhance guest consultations.
• Build strong guest relationships through personalized consultations and professional recommendations.
• Collaborate with other beauty professionals to provide a complete guest experience across services.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies, including state board regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the salon and other assigned areas.
• Utilize booking systems to encourage repeat visits and participation in in-store events.

Qualifications and Experience of Stylist:

• Valid cosmetology license required.
• Previous salon experience preferred.
• Proficiency in haircutting, haircolor, styling, treatments, makeup, and related services.
• Knowledge of professional equipment, tools, and product ingredients.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting guest relationships.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary:

Hourly rate ranges from $11.25 to $16.80.
