General Liability Claims Examiner
Job Summary of General Liability Claims Examiner:
You are responsible for investigating and resolving liability, auto, property, and first party claims in accordance with state-specific guidelines. This role analyzes claim trends, recommends solutions, conducts safety presentations, and performs store site inspections to support risk management and safety compliance.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of General Liability Claims Examiner:
- Investigate a range of claims including general liability, auto, and property damage, ensuring timely contact and resolution while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Achieve key performance metrics aligned with risk finance objectives and comply with policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Manage litigated claims by attending trials, mediations, and arbitrations; represent the company in Small Claims Court.
- Deliver presentations and conduct store site safety inspections, promoting compliance with safety programs among Operations teams.
- Collaborate with team members to develop risk and safety programs, training materials, and presentations to elevate risk management standards.
- Build strong partnerships with Operations to mitigate risk at the store level, contributing to safety compliance and reducing claims frequency and severity.
Qualifications and Experience of General Liability Claims Examiner:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of three years relevant experience.
- Successful completion of initial and periodic trainings.
- Valid Food Handler’s Card required within 30 days of employment.

Salary:
- $72,500 – $101,500 annually, based on experience.
