Accounting Manager
Job Summary of Accounting Manager:
This position is responsible for overseeing the accounting functions related to international operations, partner brands, and joint venture investments. It includes the preparation of periodic and annual financial statements, management of international accounts receivable, and support for audit and financial compliance activities. The role plays a key part in driving process improvements and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Accounting Manager:
- Oversee accounting activities for international operations, partner brands, and joint ventures.
- Prepare periodic and annual financial statements for corporate owned international businesses.
- Collaborate with operations and accounting firms to establish effective accounting controls and procedures.
- Support business analysis, ad hoc reporting, and revenue recognition for international franchisee partners.
- Review and record joint venture investment transactions for minority partnerships.
- Perform account reconciliations and assist with quarterly bank covenant reporting.
- Contribute to external audit preparation and execution.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and special accounting projects.
- Provide financial insights and support to regional operations teams.
Qualifications and Experience of Accounting Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree required; coursework in Accounting essential. CPA strongly preferred.
- Minimum five years of accounting experience in public or private sectors with leadership responsibilities.
- Experience in a nationally recognized public accounting firm preferred.
- Food Handler’s Card required within 30 days of employment.
- Completion of annual store training upon hire.

Salary:
- Annual compensation ranging from $112,500 to $158,000 based on experience.
