The primary focus of this role is to offer professional beauty services and ensure guests have a stellar experience. This involves conducting personalized consultations, suggesting products and services, and expertly performing salon treatments. The position supports leadership in achieving performance goals, upholding guest service standards, and following compliance procedures, while fostering a cohesive salon culture.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Beauty Salon Expert:

• Administer an extensive selection of salon services, from design and cutting to coloring, texture treatments, styling, keratin procedures, extensions, makeup application, and ear piercing as necessary.
• Reach or surpass the target of $1250 in average weekly sales by prioritizing exceptional service and guest contentment.
• Stimulate guest engagement by presenting live product demonstrations and offering service recommendations based on their interests.
• Participate in various events and promotional campaigns within the store that aim to improve the overall guest experience.
• Stay current on beauty trends and products so that you can provide well-informed consultations to your guests.
• Create enduring relationships with guests and promote Ulta Beauty’s loyalty programs and mobile app.
• Assist and cooperate with fellow team members and retail associates to offer seamless and all-encompassing help to guests.
• Uphold the salon's commitment to maintaining safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance at a steady level.
• Keep the salon and designated areas clean and well-prepared by communicating supply requirements and maintaining cleanliness standards.

Qualifications and Experience of Beauty Salon Expert:

• Candidates need to possess a cosmetology license that is currently in effect.
• Experience in a salon is a mandatory requirement for applicants.
• Well-versed in haircutting, coloring, styling, treatments, makeup application, and other advanced salon methods.
• Exhibits expertise in the secure and efficient application of professional equipment and salon-quality products.
• Excelling in retail and communication competencies, including the ability to educate clientele and propose suitable products.
• Proficient in placing emphasis on meeting customer requirements and maintaining long-term relationships.
• Demonstrates a team-oriented attitude along with the flexibility to meet various business needs and schedules.

Salary:

The hourly compensation falls within the bracket of $15.00 to $17.80.
