Job Summary of General Manager:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual responsible for overseeing operations of assigned retail locations. The role involves supervising store managers, ensuring consistent execution of strategic goals, and representing GNC’s values. The focus is on driving sales, leading teams, managing merchandising programs, and maintaining operational standards to support the brand’s mission to help others live well.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of General Manager:

• Manage the day-to-day operations and sales results across multiple retail outlets within an assigned district.
• Offer leadership and strategic direction to store teams with the goal of optimizing productivity, guest satisfaction, and sales performance.
• Perform store visits dedicated to team development, customer satisfaction, sales performance, and loss prevention techniques.
• Ensure the consistent and faithful implementation of merchandising programs throughout all locations.
• Recognize and act upon sales and operational opportunities considering market conditions and performance measurements.
• Support in hiring procedures, onboarding initiatives, skill enhancement, and performance management of store teams.
• Construct a talent pipeline that is in accordance with regional and brand strategies.
• Make adherence to inventory processes, prevention of losses, and effective shrinkage control programs a priority.
• Maintain a high frequency of travel within the specified area, potentially up to 75% of the time.

Qualifications and Experience of General Manager:

• Proven leadership in managing multiple retail locations and supervising substantial employee numbers.
• Proficiency in potent leadership, strategic scheming, and nurturing team evolution.
• Adept understanding of retail management, customer satisfaction, and merchandising best practices.
• Capacity in analyzing data, assessing local market trends, and fostering business development.
• Skilled at engaging in physical activities such as lifting items weighing up to 40 pounds and standing or walking for extended durations.
• Competency in computer software operation and ability to work effectively in varied contexts.
