Job Summary of Cashier Team Lead:
This position is primarily focused on delivering exceptional customer service experiences at the cash register through efficient transactions, excellent customer care, and collaboration with team members. It involves setting a positive example in engaging with customers, promoting loyalty programs, and driving sales, while also assisting in maintaining high store operational standards. The role contributes to performance metrics, fosters a supportive team environment, and supports operational excellence by following company policies and participating in training programs.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Cashier Team Lead:
- Offer exceptional assistance by warmly greeting and interacting with visitors, advocating for merchandise, and aiding with services and demonstrations.
- Assure the swift and polite management of all transactions, which includes sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Support loyalty programs by motivating customers to sign up for credit and app services, thereby contributing to store revenue goals and shrink management efforts.
- Offer assistance in instructing new cashiers and in cross-training other associates to improve their proficiency in register operations.
- Follow the directives for commencing and ending the register operations, conducting exit assessments, and monitoring cashier sign-ins and sign-outs.
- Keep the cashwrap area and its immediate surroundings clean, well-maintained, and prepared for displaying merchandise.
- Implement all operational and loss prevention protocols to secure the workplace and manage inventory effectively.
- Be involved in continual learning to stay updated on trends and advancements in products and services.
Qualifications and Experience of Cashier Team Lead:
- Preference is given to candidates with a high school diploma.
- The preferred qualifications include at least two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Profound experience in retail cashier functions, sales procedures, and employee instruction.
- - Skilled in operating basic technology, including mobile devices and POS systems.
- Mastery in communication effectiveness, multitasking capabilities, and demonstrating top-tier customer service skills.
- Showing exceptional skills in leading and motivating peers to contribute to team success.
- The entry age limit is set at 18 years or above.

Salary:
