Job Duties and Responsibilities of Cook:

• Set up workstations and prep ingredients according to recipes and menu standards.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Cook food using various culinary techniques and ensure consistent quality and taste.
• Arrange dishes with attention to presentation and detail.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen at all times.
• Check ingredient quality and freshness regularly.
• Assist with inventory, food storage, and stock rotation.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications and Experience of Cook:

• Proven cooking experience; culinary diploma preferred.
• Skilled in food preparation and a variety of cooking techniques.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to cleanliness.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be able to multitask and respond quickly to kitchen demands.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to close at least one night per week if applying for an evening position.
