Call Center Sales Representative
Job Summary
This position is focused on driving customer acquisition and revenue growth by handling inbound calls and offering Spectrum's suite of services. The role involves effectively promoting TV, internet, and phone products to new and existing customers while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism throughout the sales process.
Responsibilities
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets using effective phone-based sales techniques.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to inbound calls in accordance with performance metrics.
- Promote and upsell additional products and services to maximize customer value.
- Demonstrate proficiency in explaining Spectrum’s products and services to customers.
- Build rapport and maintain a professional, customer-first approach during all transactions.
- Stay informed on competitors’ offerings to effectively position Spectrum’s solutions.
- Use internal systems to process orders and address customer inquiries.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer issues are resolved.
- Participate in ongoing training and stay updated on current marketing promotions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Preferred 2 years of call center sales or customer service experience.
- Skills: Strong sales aptitude, organizational skills, and product knowledge in telecommunications.
- Technical: Comfortable using PCs and billing/order systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Other Requirements: Must be able to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
