Job Summary of Store Manager:
Responsible for leading store operations, driving growth and profitability, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role involves managing financial performance, developing business strategies, and overseeing a high-performing team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Store Manager:
- Identify new customers and revenue opportunities to drive store growth.
- Manage daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Support outside sales efforts by identifying and maintaining wholesale accounts.
- Lead, train, and develop a motivated team to achieve business objectives.
- Optimize store processes and implement continuous improvements.
- Ensure the security and maintenance of store assets.
- Maintain a safe and organized store environment.
Qualifications and Experience of Store Manager:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team.
- Experience in inventory control, stocking, and seasonal product plaing.
- Excellent customer service skills and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to operate a cash register and navigate computer-based catalog systems.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Technical or trade school courses or degree.
- Experience in the automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries.
- Background in retail management, auto parts, auctions, collision repair, or food service.
- ASE certifications.
