Job Summary of Culinary Cook:
This role plays a vital part in our kitchen operations by preparing quality food and supporting a welcoming dining experience. You will bring passion to every dish, lead by example in the back of house, and help maintain the energetic and inclusive atmosphere our guests enjoy. This position supports training efforts and upholds high standards of food preparation and kitchen operations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Culinary Cook:
- Create a thriving and friendly space for guests.
- Prepare all food items on the menu while maintaining the company's recipe specifications and quality expectations.
- Assist in educating and overseeing kitchen staff members.
- Handle all back-of-house operations, which consist of cooking, preparing food items, and performing sanitation duties.
Qualifications and Experience of Culinary Cook:
- It is advisable for individuals to have undertaken some form of high school learning.
- Preference is given to candidates with prior restaurant operations experience.
- It is mandatory to fulfill the local food safety certification requirements, which may include acquiring a Food Handler certification at personal expense.
