Job Summary of Automotive Technician:

MobilityWorks is actively hiring skilled technicians and mechanics across all experience levels to support our mission of serving the disabled community. We provide accessible vehicles, including minivans and full-size vans with lifts, enabling independence for wheelchair users. This role involves high-level diagnostic and repair work on a variety of vehicle systems, with a focus on delivering safety, quality, and reliability.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Automotive Technician:

• Diagnose and test mechanical and electrical systems
• Install and connect electrical wiring and panels per engineering specifications
• Conduct road tests, inspections, and quality checks
• Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Interpret schematics and technical diagrams
• Identify repair needs, provide estimates, and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures

Qualifications and Experience of Automotive Technician:

• High school diploma or GED required
• General automotive maintenance experience
• Familiarity with brake, steering, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Strong background in diagnostics and electronic troubleshooting
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team
• OEM or ASE certifications are a plus, but not required
