Job Summary of Master Stylist:

This role focuses on delivering advanced professional beauty services and an exceptional guest experience. It involves personalized consultations, product and service recommendations, and expert execution of salon offerings. The position supports leadership in maintaining performance goals, guest service standards, and compliance procedures while fostering a collaborative salon culture.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Master Stylist:

• Deliver a wide range of salon services, including design, cutting, coloring, texture, treatments, styling, keratin, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing (as applicable).
• Achieve or exceed $1250 in average weekly sales through exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
• Enhance guest engagement through live product demonstrations and service recommendations.
• Participate in store events and promotions that elevate the guest experience.
• Remain current on beauty trends and products to provide informed and relevant guest consultations.
• Develop loyal guest relationships and promote Ulta Beauty’s loyalty programs and mobile app.
• Collaborate with peers and retail team to offer seamless, total-store guest support.
• Ensure consistent adherence to safety, sanitation, and compliance standards in the salon.
• Communicate supply needs and maintain cleanliness and readiness of salon and assigned areas.

Qualifications and Experience of Master Stylist:

• Active cosmetology license required.
• Prior relevant experience in a salon setting is required.
• Proficient in haircutting, coloring, styling, treatments, makeup, and other advanced salon techniques.
• Skilled in using professional equipment and salon-grade products safely and effectively.
• Strong retail and communication skills with the ability to educate and recommend products.
• Customer-focused with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
• Team-oriented with flexibility to support various business needs and schedules.

Salary:

Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $17.80 per hour.
