Financial Accountant
Job Summary of Financial Accountant:
The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the payment processes related to leases, supporting the accounting team. This includes responsibilities like managing invoices, reconciling accounts, preparing rent calculations, and providing assistance to internal teams and external associates. The central aim is to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payments to landlords while assisting in broader month-end closure and reconciliation operations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Financial Accountant:
- Verify and reconcile invoices from landlords as part of the process to facilitate timely payments.
- Manage the processing and settlement of utility and miscellaneous supplier invoices.
- Deal with questions from lessors, suppliers, and internal teams by furnishing accurate and timely responses.
- Support the Lease Accountant in lease audits by assisting in the resolution of any discrepancies that may arise.
- Provide assistance with the month-end closing process, including tasks like inputting journal entries, uploading data, and scrutinizing the profit and loss report.
- Confirm the accuracy of the monthly landlord statements and transactions by validating the account details.
- Complete reconciliations for lease-associated balance sheet items.
- Produce and communicate monthly calculations for percentage-based rental fees as per the lease conditions.
Qualifications and Experience of Financial Accountant:
- A bachelor's degree or its accounting equivalent is a prerequisite.
- Ideally, candidates will have accumulated one to two years of experience in a comparable setting like retail or hospitality.
- Successfully participating in the annual store training program as an employee.
- Obtaining a Food Handler’s Card is necessary within the initial 30 days of employment.

Salary:
- Experience will determine whether the hourly wage falls within the range of $28 to $35.
