Senior Accountant
Job Summary of Senior Accountant:
You will play a key role in managing third party delivery reporting and reconciliation. This position leads the utilities accrual process and acts as a liaison between Panda and delivery partners, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting continuous process improvements within Restaurant Accounting.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Senior Accountant:
- Support and guide accountants during periodic inventory accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Lead the monthly close process for Restaurant Accounting and manage the utility accrual process.
- Oversee third-party receivable collections and recognition of related fees in the Customer Accounts system.
- Allocate costs accurately across cost centers to ensure proper expense tracking.
- Manage interfacing of company credit card and out-of-pocket expenses from credit card subsystems to the ledger.
- Assist management in training and mentoring Restaurant Accounting associates.
- Participate in special projects to enhance reporting systems, focusing on automation and efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience of Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree with coursework in Accounting required; CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum five years of related experience, ideally within retail or hospitality industries.
- Successful completion of annual store training if hired.
- Obtainment of a valid Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of employment.

Salary:
Annual salary ranges from $90,000 to $126,000, depending on experience and work.
