Head of Corporate Communications
Job Summary of Head of Corporate Communications:
You will leads the development and execution of comprehensive communications and stakeholder management strategies that align with the Panda's vision, culture, and business goals. This role ensures consistent messaging across multiple channels to engage guests, associates, community, and government partners while supporting executive leadership. The position oversees the entire communications team to drive organizational impact.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Head of Corporate Communications:
- Develop and implement annual and long-term corporate communications and public affairs strategies that support Panda Restaurant Group’s vision and brands.
- Enhance company visibility and brand reputation through strategic public relations, earned media, and management of external communication agencies.
- Provide executive communications support including key message development, speechwriting, and presentation preparation for senior leaders.
- Lead internal communications efforts to promote company culture, including companywide events, podcasts, and clear content creation across channels.
- Anticipate and manage reputation risks, guide crisis communication responses, and advise senior leadership on critical issues.
- Build and nurture community partnerships, oversee charitable giving, and foster community advocacy aligned with company values.
- Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing communications team to deliver impactful content, counsel, and programs supporting organizational goals.
Qualifications and Experience of Head of Corporate Communications:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, communications, marketing, or related field; MBA or graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, preferably in retail or hospitality.
- Proven ability to provide counsel and communications support to executive leadership, including speech and presentation preparation.
- Experience working with privately held, family-owned businesses is preferred.
- Successful completion of required trainings.
- Valid Food Handler’s Card required within 30 days of employment.

Salary:
- $205,000 – $384,000 annually, based on location and experience.
