Job Duties and Responsibilities of Cosmetics Consultant:

• Increase sales within the prestigious category by recommending supplementary products and services that go hand in hand with the primary purchase, and by showcasing ongoing events and promotions.
• Enhance guest satisfaction by delivering personalized consultations, applying makeup professionally, and analyzing skincare requirements effectively.
• Carry out sales transactions, process returns, and facilitate exchanges with accuracy and politeness.
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards at the makeup stations, testers, and prestige department.
• Provide assistance in merchandising responsibilities such as planning and executing store layouts, conducting resets, presenting marketing exhibits, and overseeing the handling of shipments.
• Schedule and oversee events and service reservations within the store to reach store objectives and increase customer engagement.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, new products, and category education to cultivate a thorough knowledge of the products.
• Comply with all organizational rules, strategies for reducing losses, and expectations related to dress code adherence.

Qualifications and Experience of Cosmetics Consultant:

• Preference is given to candidates with a high school diploma.
• State statutes may dictate the need for a cosmetology, esthetician, or demonstrator license in certain circumstances.
• Preference is given to applicants who have worked in roles related to retail or beauty for a minimum of one year.
• Skilled in clear communication and adept at establishing long-lasting relationships with guests.
• Skill in working autonomously, in a team, and with flexibility in scheduling that encompasses evenings and weekends.

Salary:
