Job Summary of Store Lead:

The role is responsible for supporting leadership through key operational duties such as cash-wrap handling, opening and closing procedures, and serving as Leader on Duty (LOD). This position upholds brand representation, fosters positive customer interaction, ensures adherence to visual and operational standards, and promotes team engagement and development.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Store Lead:

• Assist in developing talent through the training of associates, including giving in-the-moment coaching conversations
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns with associates
• Support and participate in all company training and development initiatives
• Foster a positive work environment and provide direct, objective feedback in a timely manner
• Assess performance and provide the appropriate level of feedback on a daily basis and during the annual performance review process
• Motivate and inspire associates to build brand loyalty and create a positive store environment
• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service while maintaining high store standards
• Represent The Children’s Place in a professional and positive manner
• Support the management team to maximize productivity through operational knowledge and customer service
• Participate in the Leader on Duty (LOD) program to drive profitability and customer satisfaction
• Process payroll weekly
• Modify schedule based on business climate
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom
• Ensure Environment (CRE) Standards & Safety requirements are met

Qualifications and Experience of Store Lead:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of previous retail experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Excellent customer engagement and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and organization skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and maneuver on the sales floor and stockroom
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to internal systems
• Flexible availability including weekends and evenings

Salary:

$14.30 - $19.15 Per Hour
